ADS SHOWCASE 2026
After a fantastic start to the year, we are swiftly approaching the end of Semester 1. We are excited to announce our Mid-Year Showcase Festival 2026!
Our Mid-Year Showcase provides parents the opportunity to gain insight into our classroom curriculum and activities. Students will perform a variety of pieces that demonstrate the core performance elements at ADS, as well as a sample of small activities. Showcase also provides students with the opportunity to present highlights of their work in a supportive and relaxed environment.

HOW TO GET THERE & PARKING:
1. Enter through the main gate and follow the signs to the main entrance.
2. We are located up the first set of stairs you see.
There will be plenty of ADS signs to help you out on the day. Parking is unrestricted on College Grounds.
TICKETING

Your ticket grants you access to all shows for the entire Showcase Festival day. Please come early, or stay late to watch some of the other fantastic performances happening throughout the day! Our Mid-year Showcase Festival is a community event, and we love watching the whole school come together to support each other every year.
NOTE: ADS students are granted a ticket for the entire day and are not required to purchase a ticket.
Please do not share the ticket link on social media profiles, it should be shared with close friends and family only.
SHOWCASE PREPARATION
All scripts are located on a google drive link sent to ADS families via email and can also be found below.
It is important that families support their child by printing their scripts to practice and memorise lines at home. Students have been practicing their assigned scripts during classes and will know which scripts they need printed.
Students are asked to bring their personal printed scripts to rehearse with in class during Term 2.
SHOWCASE DAY KEY INFORMATION
WHAT TO BRING:
Students should arrive at their call time wearing their ADS T-shirt, black pants, and black shoes.
Act, Dance, Sing students will also need to wear their black jazz shoes.
Please email info@actiondramastudio.com.au if you are yet to receive an ADS T-shirt ahead of showcase day.
Students are also encouraged to bring a water bottle.
CALL TIME PROCESS:
Students are to arrive at their call time for a 45 minute rehearsal.
For the duration of this rehearsal, we invite families and guests to our indoor foyer that includes a kiosk and children’s activities table.
NOTE: ADS teachers are not the responsible guardians of students outside of their 45 minute rehearsal and performance time. Students who arrive early or stay after their performance must have an actively supervising parent or guardian.
SHOWTIME:
Following the 45 minute rehearsal, parents, friends and family will be invited into classrooms at the designated showtimes for the performances.
